Special interventions on resin and concrete floors

Functional improvement of surfaces

 In addition to installing new resin floors, Resindast performs technical maintenance, restoration, and functional improvement work on existing surfaces. These operations are designed to extend the life of the floor, eliminate critical issues, and improve operational safety, without having to interrupt production or completely remove the covering. All work is performed by specialized in-house personnel, using dedicated equipment and high-performance resin materials, selected based on the type of deterioration and the intended use.

Expansion joint repair

Expansion joints, if damaged or improperly filled, can cause shocks, vibrations, and detachment of the coating. Resindast performs localized structural repairs with dedicated procedures:

  • cut out the joint for approximately 25 cm to eliminate the damaged part and recreate the original section;
  • filling with structural epoxy screed, suitable for withstanding concentrated loads and repeated impacts;
  • new joint cutting and subsequent elastic sealing with material compatible with the resin system.

The result is a flexible, continuous joint that is perfectly integrated with the existing floor, restoring functionality and safety.

Highly elastic prefabricated joints

As an alternative to traditional repairs, Resindast installs highly elastic prefabricated joints, particularly suitable for environments subject to strong thermal expansion or mechanical vibrations. These profiles are:

  • placed directly on the floor,
  • mechanically or chemically anchored,
  • sealed with elastic resins compatible with the existing cycle.

Prefabricated joints absorb structural movements while maintaining the functional and hygienic continuity of the floor, without creating weak points or dirt accumulation. Installation is quick and requires no production downtime, making them ideal for 24-hour operations.

Functional and safety signs

Resindast creates permanent horizontal markings integrated into the resin system. Unlike standard marking paints, our applications guarantee greater durability, adhesion, and wear resistance. The markings can include:

  • pedestrian lanes and traffic routes,
  • delimitations of storage areas,
  • safety signs and emergency areas,
  • color codes for departments or production routes.

All markings are custom-made and protected by a thin layer of transparent resin to maintain their visibility and integrity over time, even in high-traffic areas or those subject to frequent washing.
